1.75 x .120 tube. HREW or DOM is fine. You dont need anything fancy as long as you build the cage correctly
I know a tube bender is $700+ and a pipe bender is $100 but DO NOT use pipe!

did you do this do you have pics if so send them to fatmanonalilbike@yahoo.com or just post them and what welder could i use is a ARC ok???

I used 2x.120 because thats what my buddy could bend at the time. If I were to do it again, I would use 1.75. I welded it with a 220v mig. ARC might be a little much. A freind's cage was welded with a 110v house plug MIG and a couple of the welds failed when he rolled so I wouldnt use that either.

I use DOM in nearly all my cages but I have used HREW before I really try to use DOM due to the consitancy of the metal throughout the tube. 1.75 with .120 wall tubing is a good starting poitn I like to mix in some 1.5 as well to save some weight and some places the larger tub is not needed
