Big Rig JY's in the area?

Hey guys. I'm busy looking for a small air tank for my OBA system and was wondering if there's a truck JY/pick'n'pull in this area. trying to keep from having to pay 70 bucks for a tank.

You can maybe grab an old fire extinguisher, or c02 tank. Maybe even an old Suba tank, my freinds got one, let me ask him if he wants to sell it to ya.

As for JYs, there is one here in Roxbury called Roxbury Wreckors. I want to go there soon to grab an 8.8 if its cheap.

looking for something on the order of 1.5-3 gallon cap. small enough to mount under the jeep somewhere out of the way. pretty much any big truck with air brakes has a small tank that could be used. I was hoping to find a yard somewhat closer to me. all these places are 2 hrs away and 4 hrs of gas and time = cheaper to get a tank shipped to me.

if you want a small tank i would ask your local fire dept.. because you obviously know it works since they test it all the time and there are almost always extras or older ones that are out of service..

I'd definately go with the fire dept route first. Also, Pine Brook JY is a bunch of @$$holes. I prefer Roxbury Auto Wreckers. Nice people, better selection. Their yard has a order to it, everything is grouped together.
