I would be up for it. Have any legal spots? I know they are crazy up here about going anywhere that you shouldn't. All there are around here are seasonal roads that are crap. I may be going down to Peekamoose area (Ashokan) tomorrow the 5th around 12pm or so. There is a trail that goes over the mountain down there that you can ride the whole way on. Nothing big, but a rocky trail with some mud and some nice views along the way.

yeah, I only know the way in off of 28 from Boiceville (where I gas up before going in) I believe it comes back out on 28 on the otherside of the mountain too, but I can't remember the name of the town. I think it is Palentown or Sundown. Not quite sure. I have to work on a computer tomorrow morning, but after that I should be heading over that way and be in Boiceville around 12:30pm or 1pm. I mostly go for the ride cause it is a nice peaceful ride up into the mountain.

I was up at Boiceville today and missed you. I hung out for awhle but didn't see you. Cell phones no worky. I know it was short notice.. Sometimes I have to work it that way... Anyway it looks like a great area for wheelin. I tried to find the area near Peekamoose but didn't see it. I did see some other stuff on the way home though. Maybe I'll have more thim next time. We'll have to set something up with a couple of rigs next time with more notice...

yeah, I got tied up at home for a while and my cell doesn't work until about 3/4 the way there. I called and left a message, but ended up getting at the gas station around 1:00pm or so. I fixed up a sandwich at the store there and then set out. I ran the trail front and back and then scouted around with the gaetteer as my guide. All the other trails that I saw on the map were n private land and closed off. Sorry it didn't work out. I ended up all the way in Rochester? Never been there before, but it was a nice ride.
