nice scoob how do you like it.....? I got a couple friends with wrx's and sti's but my one friend has a very nice sti. We did a complete turbo back exhaust on it, along with the cobb ecutek. The thing is a bat out of hell its crazy. He let me drive it the one day, he's like yo drive it how you drive yours i was like ehhhh ok. Got to the highway had to stop b/c of oncoming traffic. He's like just dump it, dropped it from 3500 and had all 4 tires light up in a cloud of smoke. I was totally astonished by it. I could never get my wrx to do that no matter what plus that crappy 5 speed would of imploded haha. The sti's are definietly nice, very nice broad power band esp for being turbo. That 2.5 liter definitely helps. Kind makes me wish i would of waited and got a sti instead of my wrx.

But the wrx is going up for sale in a week, im looking at some 02 corvette's to play around with and make my new project. Should be pretty fun to play around with a v8 again. I miss those big engines wish i would of never gotten rid of my s-10 with the 350.

What do you have done to your sti if you don't mind me asking..?

its like having a house payment, all i do is get pulled over just for owning it and besides i missed my old 89 YJ, so now im looking for a 01 XJ in the future after my 88 XJ is offroad worthy... ;-)

building porsche's is awesome. One of my buddies thats in our car club use to live out in cali and worked with a guy that specialzed in porsche's. I forgot what model he had but the thing was sweet. Definietly a performer without a doubt.

I hear you on the house payment. I must say though all the time i had my car i never really got pulled over and when i did i was lucky enough to be able to get outta all my tickets b/c of the people that i know. Thats part of the reason im selling my wrx though, so i can get rid of the carpayment and save for a little while then buy the vette.

I'll keep my eye out for some 01ish xj's. How much you looking to spend as theres xj's around me for sale all the time. My boss at the architecture firm also has a buddy that buys and sells jeep i can ask him to keep a lookout for you as well.
