January Ride (Possible Dates)

Ok I looked at the calendar and I have found some nice dates. Please vote on the one you will be able to attend for sure. Then we will discuss the final date at a later time. Please vote on the one YOU CAN attend for SURE! Thanks! 8)

whooo hooo first one to vote lol, i voted for the 29 just b/c it will give me more time to fix some little things on the jeep before i go, but really i could go any one of those days

Yea the 29th is my date too. Plus the traffic is not that bad on the way home on Saturdays its acually a nice ride. Some traffic on 80 in that AREA... but then its clean driving :)

I usually wheel on Sundays due to work on Saturdays......But I will take the 29th off.
Now I just have to get my body mounts in before then....lolol.
Actually I will be at Paragon for the monthly ride next weekend as well as Sunday the 23rd I believe.

Well I dont think I will have my Wrangler ready by the 29th... and Badzook cant come. Should we still do this? I mean I can wheel with you guys with my Dirtbike and such. I wont mind. But Badzook cant... and I really want him at the first offical... because he started this group with me. Mainly him... :D

Lift, SYE, fix couple broken bolts... and get some longer brake lines. I am down a week... cause I am leaving for vacation soon... so I got like 2-3 weeks to get this all done. I can only do so much then I am like uhhhh how do you do this... :D

2.5 days with the lift (includes beer runs, injuries, and broken bolts)
4 hours with brake lines (includes part store run because you forgot brake fluid)
1.5 days for SYE kit (includes 6 hours of figuring out wtf you're doing)

Yea the lift should acualyl be faster because tehre is a leaf spring lift already installed and it was done not too long ago... before I bought it. So those bolts should not be too bad. The hardest thing I think is getting that t-case off and then doing the sye install. Oh shit I might not have a driveshaft in time... Cause I need to get it measured then it needs to be made then shipped to me... o god that could take some time... maybe I will be lucky and have a generic size that they have in stock :)

When I get back tons of work needs to get done. Take t-case out... then install lift. Then get t-case sye installed. Measure driveshaft and basically done :D

Let me know if you need a shaft or SYE I have a oneday turn around from sixstates I think you shaft will end up being in the 16inch range.

I have to scratch.I need to take the axles and front suspension out of the XJ so I can put it in the MJ.I didnt think it was going to happen so quickly.Next time I will be out is with a sick MJ buggy.
