Hey guys I just got today a 95' Wrangler Sahara , and I wanted to know what's the biggest size tire that I can install without rubbing on a stock suspencion , and if a 2" shackle lift will help any with the tire size ...Im going to start fixing this one up and I want to start with the tires .
Thanks

30x9.5 with no rubbing but a 31x10.5 with rubbing of the leafs when turned to lock. Thats with stock wheels.

Lots of info, I would say 30s will be great with no problem. Good luck with your YJ :) Welcome to the great world of leaf springs, and square headlights. I love it :wtg:

if you get the shackle you will have a good amount of flex, expessially if you get sway bar quiuck disconnects in the front, you could even get away with a 32 1150 if you wanted
hey man the biggest u can go on stock suspension is a 30x9.50 but it will still rub if disconnect anything or the springs are old..they sag really easily..i would say put in a longer shackle and shocks..with an inch body lift and even tj flares (all for under 400 bucks mostly cause of shocks) to make 31's fit nicely and all this can still be used later if u wanna add lift springs or something...

I'll see how I manage this for now ,didn't want to spend the winter driving on stock tires ,how ever in the spring I will have enough money for a 4" to 5" suspencion lift by then I will like to run 32" or maybe even 33"s ,but it takes money and time like everyone knows is not only a lift and tires ,there are a lot of other things that need to be replace for all this to work without problems .Thanks to every one for their input
