Hey guys,
I'm going to school in Wilkes-barre PA. about 30 min north of PAP. Does anyone know of any free places to wheel? I really don't want to go to mud pits and huge rocks...just real easy stuff. Every time I go to pap i end up having to do 100 bucks of repairs and my jeep doesn't run for the next week lol.. cant afford to off-road seriously and i need it as a reliable DD. Just want to go on some stuff like the pines w/o the mud. Anyone know of any place like this in PA?
Thanks,
Cody
P.S. this is the reason i have not been on the monthy rides latly cuz most off-roading other then easy stuff will f' up my jeep.
I am sure there are a few places within a drive. There are places all over the place, just alittle hidden sometimes but most offten its illegal to drive there. Its not like Pines where its basically real roads and all the laws are there. I would be carefull and if any place is real illegal please keep it in PMs. Thanks!
(PS: Maybe when you go to PAP and Pines, try and take it slow in the puddles? You seem to hit them hard :D)

There's a place in Nes behind the K plant that a lot of people use to wheel. I'm not sure how valid it is as far as ownership, but I know that there are people back there everyday wheelin'.

I went to school out at the University of Scranton. There was a nice trail over by Lake Scranton where we used to take my friend's truck. It wasn't the biggest area but we never saw any signs saying we couldn't be there and I've seen a bunch of other trucks and Jeeps out there. Not sure exactly where the entrance to the trail was but I can tell you that it was on that main road that goes by Lake Scranton and it is somewhere between the lake and the Grandview strip club  The entrance was on the left if you are heading towards the strip club.
