Very nice! Take some pictures of the finished product, and get that other Zook on the trails!

it was supopsed to...but when i picked it up it sounded like it would only run on 1 cyl. tow strapped it home cause it was only 2 miles away and did a compression check....100-120psi on all cylinders....service limit is 150psi

hence the 1.6L 16v swap....originally its a 1.3L carbed 65hp. the 1.6L 16v is MPFI with about 120hp

i seriously considered a 2.3L from an 89 mustang. which may still happen. im researching trannys right now...

ive seen one with a 350 in it and it wasnt pretty. more of an offroad-only rig.

Ask Suprzuk about the diesel swap...he did that in his. he has a NA 1.6L VW engine in his. he loves it. I really dont think it would be all that bad.
