Hey guys,

For my English class in college I have to get 10 people minimum to respond to a survey about news. If any of you have any extra time I would greatly appreciate it if you could take the following survey and e-mail results to richteco@wilkes.edu. I don't mean to spam this board but I was just Hoping a few of you could do this for me. I am not trying to sell anything and I am just trying to get a good grade.

2. Do you listen to news on the radio?
3. Do you read news magazines such as "Times" or "Newsweek"?
4. Do you watch TV news? If yes, do you watch it regularly, occasionally, or do you only watch major story's
5. What other (if any) sources do you rely on for the news?
6. Which news sources do you trust to give accurate reports?
7. Which news sources do you consider biased, incomplete or frivolous?
8. In the following list of journalistic principles. Do you think they are observed by the news media today?
8a. Journalism's first obligation is to the truth.
8b. It's first loyalty is o the citizens.
8c. It's essence is a discipline of verification.
8d. It's practitioners must maintain an Independence from those they cover.
8e. It must serve as an independent monitor of power.
8f. It must provide a forum for public criticism an compromise.
8g. It must strive t make the significant interesting and relevant.
8h. It must keep the news comprehensive and proportional.
8i. It's practitioners must be allowed to exercise their personal conscience.
